Mr. George Romas, Technical Director, Cybersecurity Solutions Group, HP EnteHPrprise Services, U.S. Public Sector, told us, “IoT will create completely new industries that form around smart devices. We already see the beginnings of that today, where smoke detectors, thermostats, audio/video equipment, watches, smart phones, vehicles and more are becoming sensor-rich and network-enabled. Everyday devices in your home or office will collaborate to form new capabilities. An example of this scenario can be demonstrated through home security. Using IoT, yourhome would know that your house is vacant by polling the motion detectors embedded in its Nest Protect smoke detectors and thermostat, and correlating that information with the family schedule (work and school). When the back door opens without the proper key code or ping from an authenticated smart phone and motion is detected, your home sounds a piercing alarm over the whole-house audio speaker system. In turn, it also sends an alert with streaming video to the police, sends warning texts to all family members, and disrupts other communications from within the house.   More

ImageWare Systems, Inc. (OTCQB: IWSY ), a leader in mobile and cloud-based, multi-modal biometric identity management solutions, was selected to implement a multi-modal biometric driver license system for the State of Baja California, Mexico.

The contract was awarded by the Funciones Ocupacionales Insha, S.A. de C.V., the prime contractor on the project. For ImageWare, the contract is valued at more than $1.0 million and its software will help generate more than one million licenses over the next three years. ImageWare will receive one time license fees for its software upon delivery and ongoing payments for its professional services and maintenance as delivered.

ImageWare will help to deploy the system at governmental offices in the largest cities in the state, including Tijuana, Mexicali, Tecate and Rosarito, as well as implement mobile stations through the state. The project will begin in the third quarter of 2014.

"As security needs become more complex and demanding, our customers increasingly appreciate the unique power and flexibility of our patented cloud-based, multi-modal biometric solutions," said Jim Miller, ImageWare's chairman and CEO. "Our proven track record of providing state-of-the-art biometric solutions for government agencies was a key factor in winning this award."HP

The multi-modal biometric driver license system will be based on ImageWare's CloudID™modular software platform that supports the rapid development and deployment of highly secure, yet flexible identity management solutions for the creation of credentials, including IDs, passports, driver's licenses, smart cards and access control credentials. IWS CloudID is designed to deliver a "future proof" identity management solution, allowing unlimited population sizes and stations, as well as adding additional biometric modalities and incorporating new biometric devices.

The company's IWS QuickApps™ will provide the user interfaces to register applicants, validate identities and print and encode cards. Both IWS CloudID and IWS QuickApps are driven by ImageWare's patented, multi-modal Biometric Engine® 2.0, and the system can be integrated with the government's existing biometric identification and verifications processes. Security for the system will be managed by ImageWare's Desktop Security System, with the use of multifactor authentication, data encryption and a secured log of all actions by the user.  For the complete Press Release, please click here.

March Networks®, a global provider of intelligent IP video solutions, is pleased to introduce its new 6700 Series Hybrid Network Video Recorders (NVRs) and the Edge 4e Encoder. The high-performance products support a cost-effective transition to high-definition (HD) IP video and advanced business intelligence applications, while providing unparalleled reliability and browser-based video management. In addition, the 6700 Series recording platform incorporates privacy masking and other privacy protection features to meet varying video surveillance guidelines across Europe.

“These latest additions to our portfolio make it easier for customers to deploy advanced IP video solutions sooner and more affordably,” said Net Payne, Chief Marketing Officer, March Networks. “They support capabilities that deliver practical business benefits to an organization, and incorporate industry-first features that save customers and channel partners service costs in the field.”

6700 Series Hybrid NVRHP
Initially available in 16 and 8-channel models, the 6700 Series recording platform provides exceptional hybrid flexibility, supporting any combination of analog and IP cameras up to a maximum of 16 IP cameras. Its optimized H.264 video compression ensures detailed, HD video and sharp analog image capture without increasing storage requirements.

Designed with channel partners in mind, each 6700 Series Hybrid NVR comes with a unique QR code on the front panel. Technicians working at a customer site can scan the code using March Networks’ free GURU smartphone application to access a wide range of product information and utilities, such as on-the-spot troubleshooting, warranty status and express return material authorizations. The industry-first application is compatible with iOS and Android devices and can significantly reduce the time and effort required to service systems in the field. In addition, the rack-mounted 6716 R Hybrid NVR includes March Networks’ innovative docking-station design, which further streamlines maintenance by allowing camera cables to remain in place when servicing is needed.

The 6700 Series recorders are fully managed with the March Networks Command® video management system (VMS) and its powerful, browser-based client – one of the only thin software clients able to support complete system configuration and administration in addition to live and archived video access. Other system features available with the 6700 solution include interactive mapping, smart card and USB token authentication, and the ability to set user permissions down to the camera level and hourly timeframe.

Edge 4e Encoder
Also new to the March Networks portfolio is the new Edge 4e Encoder. The four-channel encoder enables organizations to seamlessly convert video from existing analog cameras into digital video running on an IP video network. The high-performance device works in concert with Command VMS installed on March Networks hybrid NVRs or industry-standard servers. It offers full frame rate resolution (25 fps PAL / 30 fps NTSC), H.264 and M-JPEG compression streams for bandwidth efficiency, and can stream all four channels in parallel to an optional internal SDHC card for enhanced redundancy.

As an added cost-efficiency, the Edge 4e Encoder requires just one license for all four video channels – making it a compelling and affordable option for IP video migration in many enterprise environments.

StrikeForce Technologies

trikeForce Technologies Releases its 1st Quarter 2014 10Q Financial Results
Remains Bullish on 2014 Projections

Please click on the following link if interested in listening to the presentation by StrikeForce Management.
http://www.strikeforcetech.com/company/company_ir.aspx.

StrikeForce Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: SFOR) reported on May 20th
its 1st Quarter 2014 Financial Results, which shows a decrease in net revenues as compared to 1st Quarter 2013, while remaining bullish on the 2014 annual gross sales projections.

StrikeForce and its global sales channel are signing new planned deals that potentially could be strong revenue producers during 2014 and beyond. StrikeForce’s revenues for the 1st Quarter ended March 31,2014 was $90,901 compared to $160,991 for the 1st Quarter ended March 31, 2013, a decrease of $70,090 or 43.5%, primarily due to the decrease in sales of our GuardedID® keystroke encryption sales resulting from our initiated litigation due to our claim of a breach of contract by one of our partners, along with delays in realizing revenues from some of our new distributor’s clients, and in delayed rollout of our new mobile security technologies.”

“StrikeForce remains very positive about our near and long term future, even more now than ever. Our patent portfolio continues to grow; we have signed new agreements with partners and them with their clients in the US and abroad that will be announced in time. Based on current agreements and their minimum sales potential, we already anticipate reaching our minimum potential projections stated for 2014,” says Mark Kay, CEO.

StrikeForce is pleased to announce in keeping our tradition, the Company’s 1st Quarter March 31, 2014 10Q WebEx Presentation to be available on our website for you to see and listen to sometime starting Wednesday, May 28th, where Mr. Kay, joined by Mr. Ram Pemmaraju (CTO) and Mr. George Waller (EVP), will walk through a presentation of the 1st Quarter March 31, 2014 results, an update on our patents, patent litigation and our 2014 business outlook from a technology and sales perspective. Anyone interested in asking any questions relating to our 1st Quarter March 31, 2014 10Q filing, please email your questions to 1stQuarter2014Review@strikeforcetech.com for us to consider to respond to during or after the WebEx presentation.

Ms. Jody Ross, Vice President of Business Development, AMAG Technology, told us"Traka Integrates With AMAG Technology’ Symmetry Access Control Software via the Symmetry Extended Business Solutions Program

Traka is a Certified Partner of AMAG’s Symmetry Extended Business Solutions Program.

Traka, the key management specialist, can now integrate its systems with the Symmetry™ access control system from AMAG Technology. As a Certified Partner, the Traka32 software integrates with AMAG’s Symmetry v7.0.1 access control software. AMAG and Traka cooperatively tested and certified this integration.
The integration allows the functionality of the Traka32 software to be managed through Symmetry. The access control platform can now include key management along with its existing identity managHPement, alarm management, video management and command and control functionality. Symmetry can be scaled up or down depending on the size of the business. Used by 30,000 organizations in 90 countries, Symmetry is an open security software that meets all typical IP networking and integration requirements.
Traka32’s curfew functionality ensures keys are checked out or returned in specific, defined time increments and fault logging can show a problem that occurred during an asset’s use and ensures that faulty items are automatically locked-in until fixed. Through Symmetry, it can also create a closed-loop system which means that if a key, particularly one that is sensitive to the security of the facility, is not returned it can prompt an alarm that allows the central administrator to automatically restrict access permissions. This means that individuals can be restricted from leaving the building if they have not returned a key.>>
